MDIS Academy information
Founded in 1956, the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS)-the oldest nonprofit schools Singapore, currently home to Singapore and international students from 82 countries. The field constantly expand the scale of investment, more equipment to serve the growing needs of students. In addition to the two campus in Singapore, MDIS also MDIS College in Uzbekistan and in Malaysia.
The school has always been trusted with high quality training and professional with diverse industry choice thanks for the link and the granting by the renowned universities from Australia, France, the UK and the Usa. Besides, the English Department consists of 5 levels from basic to advanced to ensure that students are equipped with the necessary English skills before entering the main course.
1. Faculty of MDIS business
Is the largest and oldest Faculty of the Academy, MDIS business school (MBS) offers courses from certificate, diploma, Bachelor and master degree to as Bachelor of business administration, Bachelor of business degree, international marketing, finance, accounting and BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION master, master of international business , masters in finance, masters in international marketing.
2. The Faculty of tourism and hotel management MDIS
MDIS was voted as one of the travel industry training school and the best hotels in Singapore by Edupoll 2008-2009. MDIS is one of the few schools in Singapore have private practices in tourism centre hotels right on campus.
Bachelor in tourism and Hotel International in MDIS for high, focus more on the practical elements and reports after the local trips within the country as well as abroad. The program also includes 6 months of practice in Singapore. MDIS are students currently in the 5-star hotels like the Royal Plaza on Scotts, the Fullerton Hotel, Ritz-Carlton or the Resorts World Sentosa.
3. Faculty of mass media MDIS
MDIS is a is the first Institute in Singapore provides the key mass media affiliated with a University of the United States of America-Oklahoma City University (OCU). Be fully taught by faculty from the University of OCU from America to MDIS, there's Studio, media practice with the equipment.Students will learn about film, tv programme producer, compiled programs for a large chain of roles as producer or Director. The program consists of three weeks of living and studying in the OCU campus in the United States.
4. Faculty of design
In order to meet the requirements of the global fashion industry, MDIS currently offers bachelor courses are affiliated with the University of Nottingham Trent, reputation partners of Britain. There are two program options include a BA in fashion design or Bachelor of building brands that fashion marketing.
5. Faculty of information technology and online training
Established in 2002, the Faculty has the mission to focus on the development of modern information technology on both the professional and academic education. The program is communicated in STEL is from the famous University of Northumbria (UK).
6. Faculty of engineering
MDIS School of engineering is a modern technical equipment provide the hours of practice for students with practical disciplines such as construction machinery, electrical and electronic engineering or design products.
7. Faculty of health and life sciences
MDIS links with UNIVERSITY of Northumbria, England, to a degree with specialization in Biomedical Sciences (cell biology, cancer biology and culture medical students) and biotechnology. The graduates will get the variety of careers in research and applications in the field of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, biomedical.
8. Faculty of psychology
To meet the increasing requirements of the modern society, the end of 2013, MDIS has opened new Faculty training on psychological disciplines with the levels of training from certificate, diploma and Bachelor brings opportunity for for those wishing to study and professional development in the field of psychology.
